This is the second in a four-part series of Yoga for Relaxation - these classes can be done in any order.
Take a soothing approach with this deeply relaxing 30-minute practice.
We begin with some gentle movements to prepare the joints and muscles, and then spend the rest of this class in stillness, exploring what happens when we allow our bodies to melt into our asanas.
This class requires minimal strength and energy, and is the perfect practice for when you feel tired and need to stretch the body out in a soothing, restorative way. It's ideal for the end of the day when you want to bring your stress levels down and prepare for sleep.
You will need some support from blocks or pillows, and a strap or something similar such as a scarf or towel.
Use this practice to prepare for savasana, or let yourself go straight to sleep!
